My Hero

My oldest grandson just became a firefighter.  I'm so proud of him I just had to make him a card.     Unfortunately the only firefighter stamp set is expired, but lucky for me my upline has the Fire Brigade set and loaned it to me.  You should have seen the excited look on his face when he opened the card.  I used Calypso Coral for the paper and the embossing folder Textured Impressions Stripes with the Big Shot.  I colored it with markers.

  2. Love this card. My brother-in-law used to be a fire fighter and that would make a cool birthday card for him.
I also grew up in Copperas Cove Texas where my dad was stationed at Fort Hood. I have traveled a bit since then but I now live in Yakima Washington just the other side of the mountain from you.
Stop by and see what I have been up to. http://www.mysanityspot.blogspot.com
